SSG Travis pollard

Staff Sergeant Travis Pollard, a dedicated music educator and member of the 36th Infantry Division Band, currently serves as the Band Director and Fine Arts Chair at Brentwood Christian School in Austin, Texas. SSG Pollard earned  Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Tennessee Technological University in 2003 and a Master's in Music and Human Learning from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007. Initially enlisting in the Army National Guard in 2005, SSG Pollard joined the 36th Infantry Division Band in 2007 and has since held positions as Squad Leader and Music Ensemble Leader.

SSG Pollard received the Texas Christian Schools Association Teacher of the Year Award in 2015 and the US Army School of Music Peer Mentor Award in 2022. Travis enjoys reading, playing chess, triathlons, and playing music in his free time. Most of all, Travis is proud to be married to his wife, Amanda, and to be father to Judah, age 10, and Caroline, age 7.
