SPC JESSICA WEISS

In 2013, SPC Jessica Weiss enlisted in the United States Army Reserves as a 27D, Paralegal Specialist. SPC Weiss was assigned to the 176th Medical Brigade in Seagoville, Texas where she assisted the legal office until 2020. In July 2021, SPC Weiss re-enlisted into the Texas Army National Guard and joined the 36th Infantry Division Band. She graduated on the Commandant’s List from Basic Leader’s Course in January 2022.

SPC Weiss performs on French horn with the Lonestar Concert Band, and trumpet in Rhythm ‘N Boots Little Big Band. SPC Weiss is a member of the public affairs team, assisting with content creation for the 36th ID social media pages.

SPC Weiss earned her B.S. in Mass Communication and Advertising from Texas State University in 2014 and her M.A. in Advertising from the University of Texas in 2018. Currently, SPC Weiss works back at her alma mater as the marketing coordinator for Campus Recreation at Texas State University.
