SGT Christopher Wright

Sergeant Christopher Wright started his military career in 2007 by enlisting in the 36th Infantry Division Band. As a trumpet player, SGT Wright has performed bugle calls for ceremonies from Fort Hood to the Alamo, and all points in between. SGT Wright has also performed extensively with multiple Music Performance Teams in concerts statewide, and twice earned the US Army C1 Additional Skill Identifier on the Army Musician Proficiency Assessment. In addition to musical duties, SGT Wright has performed humanitarian missions for Hurricanes Ike (2008),Hurricane Harvey (2017), as well as Civil Defense duty with Task Force Alamo in 2020.

SGT Wright has served as a Section Leader, Music Performance Team Leader, Squad Leader, Hurricane Relief POD NCOIC, Unit Armorer, and is currently a Unit Prevention Leader. In his civilian career, Christopher is a public school head band director working to instill high values in the next generation through music preparation and performance. Christopher and his wife Kimberly married in 2000, have raised four amazing and beautiful daughters, and enjoy two wonderful grandchildren.
